Error description

  • When you are installing a process application snapshot, a
    process server that has been switched from online to offline
    is not displayed in the snapshot installation window. This
    error occurs when the process server is stopped and offline to
    Process Center.
    

Local fix

  • 1) Take the online server (PS) offline (as it required for
    upgrade)
    2) Just create new offline server.
    3) Remove the PS in point 1 from server tab.
    4) You need to do step 3 anyway, if you ever wants to bring the
    PS back
    online after upgrade.

    Process Center receives a shutdown notification from an
    offline process server when the process server is stopped.
    Process Center processes this notification, causing the
    process server to be unavailable for snapshot installation.
    

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix

  • User can manually create a new offline server for offline
    deployment.
    

Comments

  • With the interim fix applied, Process Center ignores process
    server shutdown notifications for offline process servers.
