Error description
When loading the Process Admin console, the Process Status Summary widget may take a very long time to complete loading. The performance impact occurs when there are a large number of process instances. In a case where there were 290,000 process instances it took 10 mins to update the process status count. . .--------------------------------------------------------- The reason for this is how the ProcessApps REST call works. The Process Status Summary widget makes this REST call [02/09/13 10:51:48:353 CEST] 00000140 BPMRestServle 3 Detail: REQUEST URL = http://localhost:9081/rest/bpm/wle/v1/processApps QUERY_STRING = null This call retrieves information for about each of the defined processes. instances and calculates the count result itself.

This fix also corrects a problem where the process instance counts are slightly inconsistent between the main process instance status widget and the Process Inspector filter panel.
Problem conclusion
This fix provides an optional mechanism to disable the icon, thus yielding performance improvements and making the process app list in the widget consistent with that in the main Process Inspector filter list.A fix for IBM BPM V8.0.0.0 and V8.0.1.1 is available on Fix Central: http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral.
