APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When extended ASCII characters (for example : German umlauts
  and French accentuated characters) are used in job properties,
  the jobs are not correctly displayed in the Operations Console
  : at first the jobs are not displayed in the console and after
  a certain laps of time the jobs are finally displayed as failed
  even though they run without any issues. If a sequence has such
  characters in the job description, all jobs that are called
  from this sequence also get displayed as failed.

  DSODB event generation error status=4 when DS job contains char
  U+00FC. Operations Console runtime fails to generate event
  files correctly when job contains extended ASCII characters, for
  example, Unicode Character 'LATIN SMALL LETTER U WITH DIAERESIS'
  (U+00FC).
  The errors in JobRuntime.err are:

Problem conclusion

• We now create the correct ".uvnlsmap" file in the event
  subdirectory.
