    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    Read-only fields for decimals variables that are not
    initialized cause server-side exception when processing Coach
    data.

Problem conclusion

  • When converting Coach data on the server-side an empty string
    would be passed for the decimal value of the read-only Coach
    field and the conversion logic would throw an exception. Now
    for the empty string case when processing decimals and
    integers, a null is returned which the system treats as an
    uninitialized variable.

    Install/Dependency information is available in the readme.txt
    on FixCentral. When the user goes to the download files page
    in FixCentral, the readme will be available with the fix
    package as a separate download.

Temporary fix

  • A work around is available also :Initialize the decimal
    variables before using them in a read-only Coach field.
