Error description
Relative URLs work with wcf:url tag before switching to FEP3+ WC SEO. After the switch, the relative URLs flag is no longer respected by the tag and therefore the URLs will always be full path. The decision to always have full path was made to avoid this problem. If you were on this page like this: http://www.aurora.com/shop/en/aurora/electronics/cameras/point- and-shoot/cameraABC And then you have a relative URL for example "OrderItemDisplay?storeId=12345&...", the browser automatically construct a URL like this: http://www.aurora.com/shop/en/aurora/electronics/cameras/point- and-shoot/OrderItemDisplay?storeId=... or for other SEO URLs you can get: http://www.aurora.com/shop/en/aurora/electronics/cameras/point- and-shoot/en/aurora/electronics/cameras/point-and-shoot/cameraDE F
Local fix
The relative URLs should be constructed starting with "/" and with the context path. This resolves the issue.
Problem summary
USERS AFFECTED: All WebSphere Commerce v7.0 users who switch from pre-FEP3 WC SEO to FEP3 or higher WC SEO and generate relative URLs using the wcf:url tag. PROBLEM ABSTRACT: This fix enables the generation of relative URLs with context path using wcf:url tags with FEP3+ versions of WC SEO. BUSINESS IMPACT: Full path URLs are generated instead of the expected relative URLs, this is unexpected by the customers. RECOMMENDATION:
Problem conclusion
When requesting relative URLs, the wcf:url tag will generate URLs that start with "/" followed by context path and then the respective URL. ------------------------------------------------------------- The latest available maintenance information can be obtained from the Recommended Fixes for WebSphere Commerce technote: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=3046&uid=swg21261296
