Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of BPM Express, Standard, and * * Advanced. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Monitor contention for Registry object * * causing slow * * performance and page hang of the Role * * Bindings page in IE8. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Security code was calling a method to obtain an instance which was synchronized using Object Lock. Calling the method too many times was resulting in serious contention issues.
Problem conclusion
Security code has been modified to cache the instance and hence the method is not called too often. Install/Dependency information is available in the readme.txt on FixCentral. When the user goes to the download files page in FixCentral, the readme will be available with the fix package as a separate download.
