Error description

• SEO URLs for sales catalog doesn't work when catalogId is not
  present in cookies or not passed as request parameter, after SEO
  Workspace APAR
  JR41596 applied in FEP3 and FEP4.
  
  (This problem occurs only in FEP3 and FEP4 after SEO Workspace
  APAR is applied. In FEP5 and later versions, this problem
  doesn't occur since we have the
  default catalog feature added in FEP5 release.)

  is applied
  
  PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
  SEO URLs for sales catalog issue when catalogId is not present
  
  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  When cookie is deleted and a request using SEO URL is sent, the
  WebControllerHelper will try to initialize Business Contexts
  again. Since SEO URL is not processed yet, there is no catalog
  id in the request parameters. The catalog context created does
  not have catalog id set. After SEO URL is processed, the catalog
  id is added to request parameters but it is not set to the
  catalog context. When other components like marketing and search
  tries to get catalog id from catalog context, it returns master
  catalog id since catalog id is null. This will cause some part
  of the store front not working properly.
  
  RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• Other components like marketing and search can get catalog id
  from catalog context correctly, and then the following page can
  work well.
