Error description
When using a SAP server the ABAP stage generates a PX exception on RunLocally()
Local fix
Problem summary
An ABAP Extract Job aborts with error message: IIS-DSEE-TFOR-00080 - Caught unknown exception from runLocally().
Problem conclusion
The issue is caused by internal memory allocation logic which misses one byte when the SAP host name length is a multiple of integer size (which is 4 on most platforms). For example if the host name is host1.domain.net (16 characters) this issue may occur. As a workaround (and to confirm they are affected) the user can try to use the IP number instead of the SAP host name (e.g. 123.255.255.200). The memory handling was corrected via a code fix. A patch is available for version 7.0 (the issue does not exist in version 6.5.x)
Temporary fix
As a workaround (and to confirm they are affected) the user can try to use the IP number instead of the SAP host name (e.g. 123.255.255.200).
