Error description

  • Problem Description: When dashboard is redirected, the url
    generated by
    REST API is not properly obtaining the proper proxy
    hostname/port from
    the configuration. Instead, the details are parsed from the Host
    attribute of the REST call.

    When calling an exposed human service in Portal and the
    service is behind a proxy, the generated redirection URL is
    not proper.  REST API does not generate the proper URL with
    the proxy's hostname and port number. This causes a wrong
    redirection of the request.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Code changes have been made to properly generate the
    redirection URL with the proxy information.
    
    An interim fix is
    available on v8.0.1.0.  The fix will be integrated into the
    next fix pack release.
