APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When using Management Center to upload managed files, users
  cannot delete a file in Management Center, and then re-upload a
  file with the same name and path information.
  

Local fix

• Mark the file as published, and then run
  ScheduledContentManagedFileEarUpdate, or manually delete the
  records which are marked for delete.
  

Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED:
  Users who use managed files in a staging server, but have not
  propagated them to production.
  
  PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
  When uploading managed files, users cannot delete an old copy,
  and then re-upload that same file, even if
  ScheduleContentManagedFileEarUpdate is run.
  
  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  Manual IT effort is required when a business user is attempting
  to reload to a filename that has previously been deleted.
  
  RECOMMENDATION:
  Run fileprop or stagingprop to allow these records to be
  removed.
  

Problem conclusion

• This ifix changes the flow to allow managed files to be deleted
  without running any other utilities to clean up records that are
   marked for delete, allowing the file to be re-uploaded.
