Error description

• When an xsd type of Date is used in the WSDL and the response is
  of type String formatted as 2001-12-31T12:00:00, it is --
  incorrectly -- interpreted as String instead of Date format.

  When the WSDL is defined with a Date type object and the
  response returns with a proper dateTime formatted String
  object, the following error may be seen:
  Type mismatch. Expected "ServiceDateTime" type, but found:
  "java.lang.String". Value: "2001-12-31T12:00:00"
  An exception is thrown and the properly formatted String does
  not get parsed.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code changes have been made to accept the response in String
  type and parse the properly formatted date. A new property has
  been introduced <type-string-to-date>. The property can be
  enabled in the 100Custom.xml file. Please follow the readme
  instructions included with the APAR.  An interim fix is
  available on v7.5.1.1.  This fix will be included in the next
  fix pack.
