JR45705 - The Marketing catalog entry inventory filter 'removeIfNoInventory' does not work with non-ATP shared inventory

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When using a web activity for an extended site (e-site) to
  recommend products in a non-ATP inventory model, there are
  products being displayed for which there is insufficient
  inventory.
  
   When inventory is held at the asset store in a non-ATP model,

   the marketing engine's "recommend a catalog entry" action
  recommends entries that have an inventory level below the

Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED:
   WebSphere Commerce users on V7 who use non-ATP shared inventory
  and have product recommendations configured with the
  'removeIfNoInventory' flag enabled
  
   PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
   The Marketing catalog entry inventory filter
  'removeIfNoInventory' does not work with non-ATP shared
  inventory.
  
   BUSINESS IMPACT:
   Product recommendations are not removed based on inventory
  level.
  
   RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• The catalog entry inventory filtering code was updated to also
  locate inventory records in the catalog asset store when non-ATP
   shared inventory is configured.
