Error description

• Analytics tags within the store pages, such as the product page
  or the cart page retrieve the category id for the product.  When
   sales catalogs are used, a product may belong to more than one
  sales category, so the determination of the correct category can
   be inconsistent.  In those cases, conflicting category
  information may be sent to the analytics collection mechanism.

• USERS AFFECTED:
  WebSphere Commerce users using Coremetrics analytics tags and
  sales catalogs with multiple parent categories for products.
  
  PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
  The analytics order tag may show different category id values
  when the page containing the tag is refreshed and the store is
  using sales catalogs.
  
  
  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  Analytics reports (e.g. IBM Coremetrics) may report incorrect
  information about the order as there may be conflicting category
  id's for the same product within an order.  Customer will need
  to consolidate multiple reports to get the full information
  about the "two" products as they were one product.
  
  RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• Code was changed so that when the page is reloaded, the category
   is set to a blank value. The analytics engine (e.g.
  Coremetrics) can then determine the correct category from a
  previous tag sent for the same product.
