Error description

  • IFT package does not include IMAMEngine, so when running the
installer the 'Metadata Interchange and bridges' does not appear
as a component install.


The Image.properties file has been amended to make this
component visible when running the installer.

Local fix

  • Amend the image.properties file.

Problem summary

  • The downloadable package IBM InfoSphere Foundation Tools v8.7
Windows 64 Multilingual (Part no. CI5D8ML) excludes the
"Metadata Interchange Agent and Bridges" product from its
product definition, so that product choice does not appear in
the product selection panel in the installer.
