APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Schema upgrade or new instance creation may fail under the
  following conditions:
  - Back-end database being used is DB2 pureScale  AND
  - WebSphere Commerce fix pack 7.0.0.2 to 7.0.0.6 is installed
  AND
  - Either one of the following conditions is met
     - New instance is being created,  OR
     - Existing database schema is being upgraded from 7.0.0.0 or
  7.0.0.1
  
  Refer to the "Workaround" section for details on locally
  applicable fix.
  

Local fix

• Locate the file "wcs.fixpack2.schema.sql" under the
  ${WCInstallDir}/schema/db2 directory
  - Make a backup of the file
  - Adjust the line in the file that looks like this:
  CALL SYSPROC.ADMIN_CMD ( 'REORG TABLE atchast INPLACE' );
  to
  CALL SYSPROC.ADMIN_CMD ( 'REORG TABLE atchast' );

  WebSphere Commerce v7.0 users (Fix Packs 7.0.0.2 to 7.0.0.6)
  with DB2 pureScale
  
  PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
  Schema upgrade failure may occur on DB2 pureScale databases

Problem conclusion

• Adjusted the schema upgrade process on DB2 databases to invoke
  the DB2 "REORG" command without the "INPLACE" option.
