Error description

• Information Server ABAP stage job displays the following
  warning in the job log:
  
  An error occurred while deregistering the RFC destination. SAP
  message: 'NOT_AVAILABLE'
  
  Request this be logged as an informational message when the
  option to delete the destination on completion is selected in
  the ABAP stage.  If this option is not selected then leave as
  warning.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• ABAP stage job displays a warning in the job log "An error
  occurred while deregistering the RFC destination. SAP message:
  'NOT_AVAILABLE' "
  

Problem conclusion

• The warning is a message received from SAP when the ABAP stage
  tries to unregister the destination after the extract completes.
  It means
  the destination still shows as busy in SAP - a timing issue.
  As a solution, we've implemented a code fix to retry
  unregistering the destination, same as we did for deleting the
  destination under JR42353.
  The feature is controlled by the environment variable:
  DSR3_ABAP_DEST_RETRIES - how many times to retry unregistering
  or deleting the destination (default 6); use values from 1 to
  1000
  
  Since the default is 6, most times the users will not need to
  set it specifically, just installing the patch may resolve the
  issue.
  If unregistering still fails, an information message will be
  displayed in the job log (not a warning, since delete
  destination will follow)
