APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In FEP5 Aurora starter store with SOLR enabled;
  Create one new ATTRIBUTE and set it as show facet in search
  result.
  On PRODUCT (catentry) ADD this new descriptive Attribute and set
  value with ";" semicolon (for example: "value1;value2")
  
  result is that this is parsed into two values
  
  Observed Results: Two(2) "response/result/doc/arr/str" elements
  Expected Results: One(1) "response/result/doc/arr/str" element

Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED:
  WebSphere Commerce users on V7 who use SOLR and facet navigation
  and have character ";" in attribute values
  
  PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
  If Show facet is checked in ATTR and attribute value contains
  semicolon, the value is split into two attributes.
  
  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  Very bad user experience as on facet navigation it's more non
  logical elements/split values
  
  RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• Remove the hard-coded split-by code. So if a single value has
  ";" in it which will not cause it becomes multiple values.
