APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If "rememberMe=false" parameter is sent with the Logon request,
  the personalization id in current session (before logon) would
  not be updated to logon user's personalization id after user
  logon, Therefore, a generic, guest or previously logged on
  user's personalization id would be persisted as audit context
  data in CTXDATA table. This problem would cause the subsequent
  marketing activities to target incorrect users.

Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED:
  All WebSphere Commerce users on v7.0 who explicitly pass
  "rememberMe=false" parameter with Logon command.
  
  PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
  The generic user's personalization id was persisted in audit
  context data after logon
  
  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  Marketing function would be impacted and malfunction.
  
  RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• With the APAR installed, if "rememberMe=false" parameter is
  passed with Logon command, the behavior would be in sync with
  the case of not sending "rememberMe" parameter at all. Unless
  "rememberMe=true" is passed explicitly, the personalization id
  should be updated in context data after Logon for marketing
  component tracking.
