APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In the Aurora starter store, if shopper uses IE7 and tries to
    add a product to a non-default wish list from the quick info
    popup then nothing will actually happen. However, as a
    workaround the shopper can still add to a specific wish list
    from the full product detail page.

Local fix

  • In <Aurora store
    directory>/Widgets/ShoppingList/ShoppingList_UI.jsp,

    change the tabindex from "-1" to "" in line:
           <ol role="menuitem" id="<c:out
    value='${param.parentPage}'/>listOfShoppingLists"
    class="created_list_wrapper" tabindex="-1" onblur="javascript:
    if(!shoppingListJS<c:out
    value='${param.parentPage}'/>.exceptionFlag){shoppingListJS<c:ou
    t value='${param.parentPage}'/>.dropDownInFocus = false;
    shoppingListJS<c:out
    value='${param.parentPage}'/>.hideIfNoFocus();}">

    To:

           <ol role="menuitem" id="<c:out
    value='${param.parentPage}'/>listOfShoppingLists"
    class="created_list_wrapper" tabindex="" onblur="javascript:
    if(!shoppingListJS<c:out
    value='${param.parentPage}'/>.exceptionFlag){shoppingListJS<c:ou
    t value='${param.parentPage}'/>.dropDownInFocus = false;
    shoppingListJS<c:out
    value='${param.parentPage}'/>.hideIfNoFocus();}">

    When tabinex is set to "-1", IE7 omitted the click events for
    this specific code. When we set tabindex to "", IE7 is able to
    recognize the DOM within and it does not impact user using other
    browsers (tested on FF10 and IE9), just fixes the IE7 problem.
