JR43512: CMVC 223798 - AVOID THE POSITION OF CUSTOM COLUMN IN CMC FROM DRIFTING TO A WRONG POSITION.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The position of custom column in CMC is not in the position as
  shown in the database if logging out and logging back in CMC
  without closing the window.
  
  The steps to reproduce the problem are as below:
  1. Log in CMC -> promotion tool -> promotions
  2. Right click on custom column -> configure columns -> move the
  position
  3. Log off and log in CMC (without closing the window). Open
  promotion tool -> promotions
  4. The position of custom column gets drifts to another
  unexpected position.
  5. If logging off and closing the window, then open a new CMC
  window, go to promotion tool -> promotions, the position of
  custom column is expected which is identical as what the
  database shows.

  WebSphere Commerce users on v7.0 who use CMC tools with custom
  columns.
  
  PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
  The position of custom column in CMC is drifting to a wrong
  position if logging out and logging back in CMC without closing
  the window.
  
  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  Custom columns are not displayed at the expected position in
  CMC.
  
  RECOMMENDATION:
