APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The issue is caused by a memory leak in the SAP RFC SDK that is
used by the BAPI stage. All BAPIs with table parameters were
    leaking memory.

Local fix

  • A workaround would be to redesign the BAPI to replace the table
parameters by import and export parameters. Another option
would be to to split up the BAPI calls into several jobs runs.

Problem summary

  • The BAPI stage does not properly release all the memory when
    table parameters are used.

Problem conclusion

  • Code fix, memory is now correctly released.
