Error description

• Starting with v7 Feature Pack 3, the Javascript variables are
  not resolved when passed into the extraParam attributes in
  Coremetrics tags. These parameters are treated as actual values
  instead of Javascript variables.

• USERS AFFECTED:
  All WebSphere Commerce users who are on Feature Pack 3 or higher
  and uses Coremetrics web analytics
  
  PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
  Starting with v7 Feature Pack 3, Javascript variables are not
  resolved when passed into the extraParam attributes in
  Coremetrics tags.
  
  
  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  Customers wont be able to pass Javascript variables in the
  extraparam attribute of the Coremetrics tags.
  
  RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• All the Coremetrics tags that supports the extraparam attribute
  have been updated to parse Javascript variables along with the
  server side variables. The string literal 'jsvar:' needs to be
  appended in front of the Javascript variable name so that the
  Coremetrics tag understands that the value passed is a
  Javascript variable and can process it accordingly.
  
  For example, the following shows the sample usage of a
  Coremetrics page view tag with a Javascript variable passed:
