Error description
There is an optimization in LogReader to throw away empty transactions. However, when there is an empty transaction, CDC may incorrectly send the begin transaction to the parser, but not the commit transaction. The net effect is that restart position will not move forward.
Local fix
Problem summary
The restart position in the bookmark may remain pinned at a given LSN and not move forward. The most common symptom of this issue is a subscription failing because it cannot locate the LSN at startup, despite having minimal latency. Below is an example of this type of error: "ID: 9602 Detail: An exception has occurred during mirroring. Error: Failed to activate informix session. The LSN is <LSN-VALUE> and the corresponding logical log uniqid is <UNIQID-VALUE>. Error Message: Data at the requested log sequence number is not available for capture. Possible Cause: The LSN is no longer in online logs. In this case the UniqID belongs to a log which has long been archived or removed.
Problem conclusion
Please apply the following interim fix to address this issue. ISCDC 6.5.1 InterimFix 6 For Informix
