  • Running the versionInfo command with the -maintenancePackages

  • WebSphere Commerce 7.0 Fix Packs 3 (7.0.0.3) and higher contain
    a fix for this issue. If you cannot apply one of these Fix

Problem summary

  • USERS AFFECTED:
    WebSphere Commerce administrators who use the versionInfo
    command with the -maintenancePackages parameter on WebSphere
    Commerce 7.0.0.0, 7.0.0.1, or 7.0.0.2
    
    PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
    Running versionInfo -maintenancePackages throws
    SAXParseException
    
    BUSINESS IMPACT:
    Negligible business impact.

Problem conclusion

  • The WebSphere Commerce versionInfo command is built on a
    WebSphere Application Server library.  As part of the solution
    provided within the APAR, IBM has updated that WebSphere
    Application Server library to a newer version to mitigate the
    SAXParseException.
