APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Exception occurs when using Process Inspector web version via
    Process Admin console on Runtime env. The issue appeared to be
    related to DB2 9.5.7 version.
    

Local fix

  • The error goes away if DB2 is upgraded to 9.7 release

    Using the web-based Process Inspector in 7.5.1 using DB2 9.5.7
    leads to a blank screen and ProcessAdminRestException in logs.

    The issue was incorrect SQL syntax related to using quotation
    marks in decimal comparisons which newer versions of DB2 auto-
    correct.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Replace incorrect decimal comparison syntax with the correct
    usage by removing unnecessary quotation marks from the query
    used to populate Process Inspector.
    
    Problem is fixed in interim fix available in Fix Central.
    Problem is also fixed in future releases.
