APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • User tries to track the completed activities when doing
simulation on gateway.
However, the specific behavior between 750 and 751 is
inconsistent.
Dev team confirmed that the behavior observed in 750 are correct
and in BPM 751, As for join ( Parallel Gateway), the completed
tasks should be 100, 200 is incorrect.

Local fix

will be fixed in future version

User will see incorrect Simulation results.

Problem conclusion

  • APAR JR42704 fixes reporting of Simulation results when a
process flow meets the criteria outlined in the Process Summary.

The fix is available on fix central, and comprises of a
client, Process Designer, and server fix.

The fix is dependant on JR42280, see
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1JR42280,
and needs to be installed prior to the fix for JR42704.
