APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Comparison expression (>,<,>=,<=) between a binary nickname
  column and a host variable cannot be pushed down to remote
  server. E.g.
  
    delete
    from n1
    where id >=? and id <=?
  
  whereas id is binary column (e.g. BINARY(24) in SQL Server), and
  id >= ? and id <= ? can not be pushed down.
  
  All data sources can be affected.
  

Local fix

• setting server option collating_sequnce = Y
