Error description
InfoSphere DataStage issued the error message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. That message means that InfoSphere DataStage did not import the response definitions in the WSDL document. Only the request definitions were imported.
Local fix
Apply Patch JR41390 .
Problem summary
WSDL importer is unable to import WSDL defintions.When a user tries to import the web service operations only the request definitions will be imported.The response definitions will not be imported. In the more details section,the error "object reference not set to an instance of an object would be seen"
Problem conclusion
WSDL importer is unable to import WSDL defintion due to fix done for disposing table defintiion lock.The table definition lock fix is revamped to fix the wsdl import issue. The Existing web service pack jobs will work fine. The issue is seen only when new web service definitions are imported.
