Error description
If message server and the gateway hosts are different, BW Load balancing at save issues warning " Currently unable to connect to SAP using the connection and logon information specified for this connection" using the Designer client GUI for the SAP connection properties. For the Source System properties it gives: Unable to connect to BW system 00 through application server xxxxxx using connection details.." It the latter case, connection to a Source system should go throgh a message server, not the application server. An additional error message could be provided if the logon connection details for a message server are incorrect.
Local fix
Apply fix for JR37033 to use DS admin for SAP client to validate the connection details instead of stage gui
Problem summary
