APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In Sales Center, a CSR can create a tickler for an order and
  assign it to another CSR, or a CSR group.  CSR groups and
  customer group territories can be defined in the Organization
  Administration Console for use with tickler assignment in Sales
  Center.  Currently, a tickler can only be assigned to a CSR or
  CSR group if the order in question is for a registered user.  A
  tickler for an unregistered/guest user cannot be assigned to a
  CSR or CSR group as the combo box to select the tickler assignee
  is empty.

Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED:
  All WebSphere Commerce users on V7.0 using Sales Center.
  
  PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
  Unable to assign a tickler to an unregistered/generic user.
  
  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  A CSR is not able to assign ticklers to other CSR or CSR groups
  for orders associated to guest users.
  
  RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• The root cause is that Sales Center is using
  UserRegistrationDataBean to get the parent organization of the
  users; this will not work for guest/generic user as this data
  bean is only intended for registered users. With this iFix, the
  code is updated to utilize a different API call for retrieving
  the parent organization of a user that works for both registered
  and guest users.
