  • When DataStage job try to e-mail big file out, core file is
generated

Local fix

  • Send smaller file

Problem summary

  • Notification Activity in a Sequence job is less likely to run
out of memory.

Problem conclusion

  • While processing attachment(s) in a Sequence job's Notification
Activity, potentially large areas of memory will be released
when no longer needed.  This should reduce abnormal termination
of the Sequence job with "Job control process (pid nnn) has
failed."
