• Preface:
  
     IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management Server for Product
     Information Management supports reading and writing
     Microsoft Excel files.
  
  
  Current situation:
  
     IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management Server for Product
     Information Management, version 6.0.0 and version 9.0.0
     does not support Microsoft Excel 2007 file format *.xlsx.
  
     This limitation currently is not documented in the
     InfoCenters.
  
  
  Desired situation:
  
     Both InfoCenters should document the known limitation that
     the Microsoft Excel 2007 file format *.xlsx is not
     supported by IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management Server
     for Product Information Management.
