JR36162: IMPORTING COLUMN DESCRIPTIONS

Error description

• Are there any other possible solutions available outside of the
  flat
  file?  We have the descriptions in DataStage, perhaps that can
  be
  leveraged?  We are extracting data from our source system using
  DataStage jobs and putting the data into Oracle tables then
  importing
  that data into Information Analyzer.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  When re-importing metadata via connectors, table descriptions
  are always updated, and column descriptions are never updated.
   Users should have a mechanism whereby they can control whether
  or not descriptions are updated upon reimport.

  RECOMMENDATION:
  Install patch for JR36162 and follow the instructions in the
  readme.
