Error description

  • Customer needs assistance with an error when he try to test a
    rule ,
    
    AN ERROR HAS OCCURED , PLEASE CLOSE THE SOFTWARE , nothing
    happens and has to close te aplication manually.
    Log files indicate that a Corba permission/JACC authorization
    occurred, and that the error only occurs if
    1. static credentials were not in effect
    2. the user did not have Suite Admin and DS admin role.

    USERS AFFECTED:
    Information Analyzer users that are not using static
    credentials.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    When executing a Data Rule, user gets a message "AN ERROR HAS
     OCCURED , PLEASE CLOSE THE SOFTWARE".
    Log files indicate that a Corba permission/JACC authorization
    occurred, and that the error only occurs if
    1. static credentials were not in effect
    2. the user did not have Suite Admin and DS admin role.

    RECOMMENDATION:
    Upgrade to Information Analyzer 8.1.2 Fix Pack 2, or to
    Information Analyzer 8.5 as and when it is available.
