• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Datastage designer client fails when using regional settings set
  to Hebrew and selecting the Tools - Configuration option.
  

Local fix

• Changing to English (US) regional settings
  

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  DataStage users with various regional settings enabled -
  attempting to use Tools > Configurations would result in a
  Run-Time Error (RTE).
  ****************************************************************
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  Hebrew regional settings enabled, any attempt to use the
  configuration editor (Tools > Configurations) resulted in a RTE.
  Also known to affect Arabic(Saudi Arabia) and is prossibly going
  to affect other regions too.

  RECOMMENDATION:
  Install Patch JR35546

Problem conclusion

• Discovered the Hebrew regional settings was firing a change
  event at the time the control's font is set.  This had a knock
  on affect, causing another control (which had not yet been
  initialized) to fail.
