JR35416: UNABLE TO PULL IN COLUMNS LIST USING SQL BUILDER WITHIN ORACLE OCI 9

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When we use the SQL Builder tool within the Oracle OCI stage it
  does
  not seem to transfer the column names into the column list like
  it does
  in our older version 7.5.2.  See the attached document for more
  detail
  on the problem that we are experiencing.  We are currently on
  DataStage
  8.1 with Fix Pack 1 installed

  user using sql builder with stages like Oracle OCI that have a
  custom UI dedicated to that stage

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  Following using SQL Builder to create a SELECT statement the
  builder was not populating the stage columns grid with the
  columns selected in the SQL statement.
  ****************************************************************
  RECOMMENDATION:
  Install patch_JR35416_client_windows_8100-1
  ****************************************************************
  

Problem conclusion

• This issue has been fixed and now the builder populates the
  columns grid.
