APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Using the istools utility to import Mainframe Routines can fail
  with "Unexpected error importing design. See the log in the Web
  Console for more details". In the Web Console error logs are
  found that report "DuplicateIdentityException"
  
  This happens if the Mainframe Routine has arguments defined
  which have COBOL properties set, for example the 'Usage'
  Property.

  Import some Mainframe Routines using istools/ISM

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  Mainframe Routines can contain arguments that have COBOL
  properties set (e.g. usage - DISPLAY). If these routines are
  imported via istools/Information Server Manager, then an error
  will occur and the routine cannot be imported.
  
  This is beause of internal model identity definitions that do
  not uniquely identify each property.

  RECOMMENDATION:
  Install patch JR35318
  ****************************************************************
  

Problem conclusion

• The model identity for these objects have been extended so that
  they are now uniquely identified. This avoids the import error.
