JR35054: IN DATASTAGE DESIGNER, THE SHARED TABLE WIZARD SOMETIMES FAILS TO PICK THE HIGHEST RATED TABLE MATCH

Error description

• Sometimes DataStage Designer shared table wizard selects the a
  lower rated table match, even though the higher rated match is
  correctly identified.

  USERS AFFECTED:
  Any user using Table Sharing Wizard with sameness scanning.
  ****************************************************************
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  When running Table Sharing Wizard, the sameness scan to match
  metadata was not correcly passing an argument to select the best
  match only.  From a user perspective, this gave the impression
  of random results at times.

  RECOMMENDATION:
  install patch JR3504
  ****************************************************************
  

Problem conclusion

• Added property to ensure the heighest scoring match is
  pre-selected in the wizard.
