Error description
DB2 connector when reading or inserting varchar, truncates the data to the first hex0 (null value) that is in the string. Therefore it is not possible to insert or read strings that contain null values inside. This problem is in the common connector framework and affects also ODBC connector.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: DB2 Connector **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: DB2 connector when reading or inserting varchar, truncates the data to the first 0x00 (null value) that is in the string. **************************************************************** RECOMMENDATION: Apply the patch for JR34977 ****************************************************************
Problem conclusion
DB2 Connector handled 0x00 as a null-terminator since it was using strlen() to fetch the data length. Fixed connector to get actual data length so that 0x00 will be handled was a input data.
