APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A DB2  table that has all non-null fields and try to insert rows
  into this table via DataStage with the DB2 Connector Stage and
  forget a to add a particular column that
  DB2 Connector Stage the job will report a successful completion
  however 0 rows got inserted due to the fact that a non-null
  column was not added to the table definition.
  
  When using the ODBC Stage that it will return an error
  indicating that it can't insert into  a non-nullable field.
  

Local fix

• This fix is included in 8.0.1 fix pack 3

Problem conclusion

• If no reject link is defined, the DB2 Connector will now abort
  and report DB2 error SQL0407N, "Assignment of a NULL value to
  a NOT NULL column is not allowed."
