APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Customer's job is hanging when multiple netezza stages are used
    in one job that is running on multiple nodes.
    Patch for ecase 120011 resolved this issue in DS 7.5.1.
    Patch required for IS 8.0.1 on Linux
    

Local fix

  • Replace one netezza stage with odbc stage
    
    
    This fix is included in 8.0.1 fix pack 3

    patch_JR32539_801fp1_PXEngine_redhat.tar
    and
    patch_JR33440_server_redhat_801fp1.tar

Problem conclusion

  • Due to non-existence of unique pipes for netezza stage on
    multiple nodes, the situation has occurred .
    This has been fixed in the long back.
    Customer is given cumulative PX Engine patch and Netezza patch .
