APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• It is possible in the Add Join Key wizard to add another join
  between a lookup source table and a mapping source table. This
  should not be possible.
  
  An attempt to generate a job will cause a
  java.lang.NullPointerExcption error.
  

Local fix

• Do not additonaly define the join beteen the lookup table, let
  the lookup definition do this join.
  
  Upgrade to FastTrack 8.1.1.

  Look-up tables are accessible in the Table Properties section
  ofthe mapping editor. This allows to define join definitions
   between source and lookup tables in the table properties,
  which causes the job generation exception.

  RECOMMENDATION:
  Apply Patch JR34418
  Fixed in Information Server 81 FP1.

Problem conclusion

• The resolution was to prohibit the join definition of source
  andlookup tables in the table property section.
  Fixed in Information Server 81 FP1.
