APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When querying a MS SQL Server nickname, MS SQL Server Wrapper
may report following error:

SQL1822N  Unexpected error code "" received from data source
"MSSQL".
Associated text and tokens are "MSSQL Invalid cursor state".
SQLSTATE=560BD

Meanwhile, "invalid cursor state" error is logged in
db2diag.log. The log entry looks like below:

This error is caused by MS SQL Server Wrapper mistakes a normal
ODBC Driver return message for a error message.
