JR33801: DRS STAGE ON 64 BIT PLATFORMS READING FROM SQL SERVER DOES NOT LOAD ALL RECORDS WHEN ARRAY SIZE IS GREATER THAN 1

Error description

• Information Server 8.1 on AIX
  DRS stage on 64 bit platforms reading from SQL Server does not
  load all records when array size is greater than 1
  

Local fix

• Set array size to 1
  

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  DRS ODBC read stage, 64 bit platforms.
  ****************************************************************
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  Number of records extracted from database always equal to table
  row count divided by the array size on 64 bit platforms. Work
  around is to use array size of 1 which will correctly load all
  table rows.
  ****************************************************************
  RECOMMENDATION:
  Apply patch JR33801 to fix this issue.
  This change is included in 8.1 Fix Pack 1.

Problem conclusion

• After this fix, DRS ODBC stage will successfully read all
  records from the table when array size is greater than 1.
