Error description

  • Derivations defined in a Transformer stage are lost when a new /
    existing reference link is attached to the Lookup stage which is
    directly connected to the Transformer stage

    anyone using designer client

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    when the user moves a link from one stage to another and the
    link becomes a reject type, its derivations are removed.
    ****************************************************************
    RECOMMENDATION:
    the customer will have to apply the related patch.
    This change is included in 8.1 FP1
    ****************************************************************
    

Problem conclusion

  • changed the code not to clear a links derivations if it becomes
    a reject link
