Error description

  • IS 8.1 update installer fails to execute dsenv when rebooting
engine causes libpath to not be set properly.

Local fix

  • execute . ./dsenv
stop and start engine

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Updater Installer doesn't source dsenv when restart DataStage
Engine. Any change that a customer made to the dsenv will not be
effective until the customer restart DataStage Engine after a
patch installation.

RECOMMENDATION:
Need to download updater.jar version 8.1.0.162
