Error description

  • [Background]
Customer found that dsjob seems to sleep 1 min. after finishing
the job when resetting a job by dsjob RESET command.

    [How to reproduce]

*** Actually I tested it in my Windows environment on VMware
(IS81 GA level), but I could not recreate it...
*** So those steps are from our customer.

At first , prepare a simple server job (only a small seq. file
    ---> Transformer ---> seq. file)
and run and reset the job by the following commands:

    1. Run the job

       [sasaki@smbcetl1 ~ 10:27:16]$
       /opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/DSEngine/bin/dsjob -run
    -mode NORMAL
       -wait -jobstatus DSproj1 karajob
       waiting job...
       Complete waiting job
       Job status : (1)

       Status code = 1
       [sasaki@smbcetl1 ~ 10:27:20]$

    elasped time: 4 sec.

    2. Reset the job

       [sasaki@smbcetl1 ~ 10:27:35]$
       /opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/DSEngine/bin/dsjob -run
    -mode RESET
       -jobstatus DSproj1 karajob
       waiting the job...
       Complete the waiting job
       Job status : (21)

       Status code = 21
       [sasaki@smbcetl1 ~ 10:28:38]$

    elaspsed time:63 sec.

But when referring the result from DS Director,

       1. Run the job
       10:27:19-10:27:20:1 sec.

       2. Reset the job
       10:27:39-10:27:39:1 sec.

From the above result, it looks like dsjob sleeps one min.
    after resetting the job.
