JR33152: EOW UNABLE TO LOG TO A REMOTE QUEUE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer has a job that MQ-->XRMER-->UOW ( unit of Work)
  
  For the unit of work they have input queue set to a local queue
  and the log queue set to remote queue.
  
  If they run this job it fails with the below error.
  
  open ended with reason code : 2045
  
  So they select 'Log Queue' optional parameter in UOW stage and
  provide Queue (remote) name, UOW stage failed to open queue.
  
  Note: If they use  Queue Local job run successfully.
  
  So we think the issue is that UOW stage is trying to open 'Log
  Queue' for Input and Output, and remote queue cannot be opened
  as an input queue.
