JR33109: THE LICENSE FILE NAME CHANGE FROM IVVM.LIC TO DDVM.LIC FOR IS 8.1. THIS WAS NOT CORRECTED IN STORED PROCEDURES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Problem has been reproduced in-house on AIX machine with IS 8.1.
  It has nothing to do with the parameters. Any Stored Procedure
  invoking is making the entry in the ODBCINI file (QEWSD entry)
  
  The problem is that the license file name change from IVVM.LIC
  to DDVM.LIC for Is 8.1. This was not corrected in Stored
  Procedure Stage code.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  When Stored Procedure stage is used to execute for MSSQLServer
  DB type procedures, the stage is creating QEWSD entries in
  .odbc.ini file which is making the subsequent runs to fail
  with license error message.

  RECOMMENDATION:
  Apply this APAR.
  The fix has been included in the IS 8.1 FP1. Apply the FixPack1
  for IS 8.1.

Problem conclusion

• Code has been changed to use the DDVM.LIC license file for
  64-bit platforms.
