JR32866: DSADMIN OPTIONS NOT AVAILABLE IN IS 810

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The dsadmin commandline options  -basedirectory
  -deploymentdirectory and -customdeployment are not available in
  the 8.1 release of Information Server. An error is reported:
  "The selected command is not available in this release of
  DataStage."
  

Local fix

• Workaround: options are available on the DataStage admin client.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

  RECOMMENDATION:
  Customers experiencing this problem who do not wish to use the
  admin client as a workaround, should install patch JR32866.
  This fix is included in 8.1 FP1.

Problem conclusion

• Fix was to restore the options, which had been deliberately
  restricted at 8.0.1
